The Warner Research Institute is a certified Not-for-Profit Research Organisation registered with the Australian Government as a Deductible Gift Recipient. Our core purpose is to foster and promote scientific research that helps create a sustainable, equitable world.
Our primary objectives include:
- Reducing energy use while maintaining or improving living standards
- Optimising the ongoing re-use of material resources
- Collaborating with other research bodies and institutions
- Educating and engaging the wider community
- Funding scientific studies by approved researchers that align with our mission
Vision requires action
Globally we continue to seek more ways to improve our standard of living and reduce the impact that it has on our planet.
Producing cleaner “renewable” forms of energy is to be applauded. However, we are demanding more and more energy. Alternatively, we could find ways of reducing our energy needs by developing smarter processes and products using the materials already at hand. Designing products that can be de-constructed and re-constructed using the same materials infinitely will save embodied energy in the present materials use which are lost or otherwise wasted.
Throughout time humans have advanced using new technologies fueled by access to currency. However, currency has no emotion, courage, or conviction. Currency only has purpose when it is in the hands of those who have vision. Invest now, research and be ready for our greatest challenge, tomorrow.
